Titanium denture is made of titanium block or disc through a series of processing: machine tool processing, superplastic forming, precision casting, porcelain, bonding, welding, polishing, surface treatment, etc. Titanium teeth have advantages that other medical metal materials do not compare: patients with nickel-chromium or cobalt-chromium teeth will have to have their dentures removed during head MRI, while titanium teeth will most likely not, because titanium is a non-paramagnetic metal, which will produce minimal ghosting during MRI. In addition, the X-ray can detect the presence of cavities inside the titanium crown because titanium can be semi-transmitted by X-ray.
